The Box in the Attic
Emma finds an old box in the attic and learns a secret about her quiet grandma.
Story beginning
It was a rainy Sunday, and Emma was bored. "Can you help me clean the attic?" asked Mum. The attic was dark and dusty. There were old chairs, boxes of books and a broken lamp. In the corner, Emma found a small wooden box. On the lid, there was a name: "Rose". "Rose is Grandma's name!" said Emma.
