Nauryz — cards for kids
12 cards: a picture, a short story and audio
The Star of Nauryz
On the night before Nauryz, Kazakhs looked at the sky and searched for a star that appears only in spring. It is a star you see in the sky when it is already dark, and it shines brighter than the others. By it they knew that spring had really come, like a calendar, only the calendar is in the sky. If the star is visible, then it is time to sow grain, because the land has already woken up.
