Stars Are Faraway Suns
Stars are balls of fire just like our Sun, but they are very far away from us. The light from a star travels to us for thousands of years, like a letter sent from another city. Stars twinkle because their light passes through Earth's air, which trembles like water in a glass. Some stars are dozens of times bigger than the Sun, but they look like tiny dots, because they are so far away that even the fastest rocket couldn't reach them.
