Satellites — cards for kids
12 cards: a picture, a short story and audio
Solar Wings
A satellite has wings, but not for flying. They are for catching sunlight. These wings are covered with blue plates that turn light into electricity, like a battery, only from the sun. In the daytime the satellite charges up, and at night, when the sun hides behind Earth, it uses the saved energy, like a flashlight with batteries.
